Another absolutely stunning Aussie National Park. We loved this place, the kids loved this place. And that was even before we saw the pink slugs!!! So weird so interesting. So exciting!

About a 45 minute drive from Narrabri this sub alpine national park is in top condition with a range of walks, camping and some limited cabins. It's a credit to the rangers the roads have just been regraded and the facilities are in top shape. The camping grounds are well defined with showers and toilets nearby. Wonderful walks and views. It is also easy to just drive through as well but caution is needed on some of the bends. There is a gravel section but taken slowly is fine in good weather. Also ideal for a day trip but need to take own supplies.

Highest part of New South Wales.Careful driving required but if a Coaster can do it most cars could.Lovely scenery, unique features of bright orange lichen grubs, wallaroos and on a fine day raptors.

Great scenery. Huge variation in walking track difficulties. But can be daunting for some to access as road is very narrow and winding.
